Just a great place to explore the past steam train Eyre
This place is brilliant, and is a must when visiting Peterborough. Make this your first priority upon your arrival, to help you to understand the amazing history of this incredible town, be sure you include the evening sound & light show with your entry ticket, as it is excellent
Extensive collection of restored carriages, really gave a feel for life in the steam years. Tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful. You can't just wander around though, due to oh&s rules. Evening show is well worth a visit to learn more about the history.
Enormously interesting history and display of old trains. Allows you to enter some trains and climb on some old carriages. Welcoming informative staff. Also loved the rail carriage further up in town. Superior engaging info!
Fantastic, take the guided tour, it is very interesting and great for all ages. You are told of the history of the railway and the town. You can explore different carriages and both steam and diesel engines. However, don't miss the sound and light show at night. It is very well put together . Just sit quietly and watch the history, light and sound. It was one of the highlights of our trip to South Australia
